Kalau ditanya soal bersaing dengan Afgan, saya tidak berpikir demikian. Saya malah berpikir bikin kolaborasi untuk menghidupkan industri musik,” ujar Glenn Fredly.

Ditemui seusai manggung di Prambanan Jazz Festival 2019 hari terakhir, Minggu (7/7/2019) kemarin, Glenn menyebut regenerasi tak terhindarkan. Bahkan, regenerasi sangat dibutuhkan berbagai industri termasuk musik.

“Ingat, dalam bermusik regenerasi itu penting. (Dunia musik) tidak bisa dimonopoli oleh penyanyi itu lagi dan itu lagi. Enggak bisa sebuah festival isinya lo lagi dan lo lagi. Nature-nya musik memang begitu,” tutup Glenn Fredly di Yogyakarta. (Wayan Diananto)
